Today we introduce Samuel Mañas Valero. He will represent the University of Valencia (Spain)
Samuel Mañas Valero's research focuses on low-dimensional quantum materials with particular emphasis on the isolation and study of the electronic and magnetic properties of two-dimensional (2D) magnetic phases. That includes quantum spin liquids, stimuli-responsive materials (spin crossover molecular layered crystals), 2D ferromagnets and antiferromagnets, as well as the assembly of these 2D materials as van der Waals heterostructures.
